My sis called me tonight and told me she thought Lemonade (NaNo '06) was a very good story. That really meant a lot to hear her say it. She's read just about everything I've written, so for her to single that out like that was a pleasant surprise. It's not done yet, but I guess you never know how a story will be received/affect people until you put it out there.
Just a little encouragement from an unexpected source. Not that my sis wouldn't support me, but for her to go out of her way and say something like that really meant a lot.

I agree with your sis. When I finished read RJC, I thought, wow, it can't get any better than this. Then there you go starting Lemonade and I'm still doing the fish mouth, my emotions are suspended and I swear I don't know when I'll come back down, that's why I can't wait to own this. Want to eventually pass this on to my granddaughters.....
